Illustrations for iWriter

ILLUSTRATIONS MADE FOR iWRITER (now Templafy)

A SELECTION OF A FEW DOZEN ILLUSTRATIONS A MADE FOR THE iWRITER WEBSITE

iWriter made software which helped other companies and (local) authorities integrate their brand identity into their e-mail, letters, quotes and invoices. Templates in the iWriter software helped standardise how those e-mails, letters etc. were sent. The iWriter software was linked with Microsofts Office products like Outlook, Word and Sharepoint.

The illustrations needed to explain how the iWriter software works and how it could work for companies and (local) authorities.
All illustrations made with Adobe Illustrator and with the then current company colours. The illustration above is a combination of some of the most iconic buildings in the Dutch city of Eindhoven where iWriter has their HQ.

Note: iWriter recently merged with Templafly.

Building castle Ammersoyen

ILLUSTRATIONS OF HOW CASTLE AMMERSOYEN WAS BUILD

ILLUSTRATIONS MADE FOR TEACHING MATERIALS ISSUED BY THE S.L.O.

  • Rough sketches done in pencil and felt pen.
  • Birds eye view with the help of 3D Max.
  • Final illustration and colouring in Photoshop.

For this assignment I teamed-up with Roel Elsinga / studiolichtjaar.nl

NB: while making the first sketches for this project we studied the oldest available plans of the castle from the 18 century and some etches of earlier date. With all that information and the knowledge of how some castle were built in that period we made the best assumption of how castle Ammersoyen was built in early 1300.

You can visit the real castle and see for yourself how it looks now: ammersoyen.glk.nl/alles-over-kasteel-ammersoyen
